Ma Tu is a Picchiotti Giannutri design and build motor yacht constructed in 1963. She is 50 feet (15 metres) and made from double sided mahoganny planking. Her two 450 horsepower engines are smooth and fast, perfect for getting in the mix during regattas, or for discovering hidden bays on the Mediterraneans most exclusive locations. She accomodates six guests in two cabins. The stern cabin has its own ensuit and there is a spacious saloon/dining room for hosting guests.

Ma Tu was fully refurbished in 2018, with new uphostery throughout and her finish is in very good condition, in the typical style of her era. Her stern deck boasts a spacious area with a lounging area for sunbathing and a scoop stern, allowing guests to easily access the ocean whenever the feeling takes them. At her foredeck can likewise be found a comfortable sunbathing area with cushions perfect for relaxing as the sun goes down with a cocktail in hand.

The Beginning

Luxury yacht builder Picchiotti is a member of the famous Perini Navi Group, located in La Spezia, Italy. The Picchiotti shipyard was originally founded in 1600 in Limite sull’Arno, Italy, initially specialising in the construction of military vessels, eventually helping to pioneer the concept of luxury, recreational motor yachts.

1900’s

During the early 1900s the company expanded and moved its shipyard, being acquired by the Perini Navi Group in the 1990s. Today all Perini Navi luxury motor yachts are constructed in the Picchiotti shipyard in La Spezia, a clear demonstration of the skill of the yacht builder.

1963

The 1963 cabin cruiser was an extremely popular design and the motor yachts have withstood the test of time. Ma Tu’s outfitting’s are typical of her dotage and have been maintained in great care, making her an excellent example of a classic Picchiotti yacht.
